Vietnam part 1, Danang

Last year in December 2024 me and my family went to Vietnam and I will be telling you all about how the adventure went. The first thing we did was plan and pack for Vietnam my mom and dad would watch a whole lot of videos before we went to any country. The reason for this is because we want to know what events and food we can find in the country. After packing and planing we went to the airport in which we would have to go through the stressful security. We waited about and hour and a half before even getting to the gates we found ourselves rushing to even get to the flight on time. Though we still made it i was tired and there was a one and a half hour flight ahead of us to get to South Korea. when we got to South Korea we once again went through the stressful security. I don't call it stressful for fun my shoulder and back hurt after going through anyways when we got to our gate and waited for the flight.

Fast forward we arrived in Danang, Vietnam! Then we got through the airport and went to our hotel the hotel was nice two beds one bathroom and a TV. After relaxing we went to bed the next morning we got an all day taxi, the driver's name was Tuan. He was a nice person and looked ready to have fun he spokeVietnamese so he had a google translate. First place we went to was Ba-na Hills a place famous for its golden bridge, a bridge with two large stone hands carrying it. It was very high so we had to take a cable cart when we got up there it was like going through a corn maze so many twists and turns and it was raining to. This was hard to navigate eventually we ate some food because we were walking around for so long. But after eating we asked one of the workers where the bridge was she gave us exact instructions. Following her advice we arrived!

My mom took a lot of pictures up there in the cold fog. We quickly got inside as obviously it was cold and rainy. Then we took another cable cart down to the ground in which where we would meet up with Tuan except Tuan wasn't there so my dad texted him and turns out he came from napping somewhere. We were then onto our next adventure the Coconut boats my mom kept calling them the Coconut bowls. After like thirty minutes to an hour we arrived at the boats! It was very fun the person rowing the boat was funny we went around for a while on the water and then ran into a big party with tons of Coconut boats. Me and my brother went for a wild spin it was very fun but it also made me dizzy my mom and dad didn't go on the spin they're lame. Then we went to a narrow water path that lead us back to the main area.

Next adventure, taking at least two hours Hôi An ancient town we finally arrived! We walked miles exploring this place there was so much to do. The first thing that happened was when we got there we walked down a street until mom and dad saw Vietnamese women carrying twin baskets with fruit. These people are a big part of Vietnamese culture they saw we were interested so they gave us fruit and took a picture with us. We then walked around for a while took pictures and talked. We walked in several alley ways all of them had tons of items we explored art shops, flapping wood planes, and more. Overall this one was the most chill experience all we did was talk and walk around for a long time my brother kept saying ''Please mom can we go'' ''Please mom can we get the wood plane''. They said no until he got them to get it then we left.

Time for the last adventure before the day was over the dragon bridge show. The dragon's mouth breathes fire at night when the show starts before this show we stopped to get ponchos cause Tuan said I think it  will rain up there. So we went to figure out for ourselves we saw there was a night market called SonTra I will talk about this market in part two of the Vietnam adventure series....stay tuned Anyways we went up to the bridge when the show started first the dragon was breathing fire pretty casual it did three-five blasts of fire out of its mouth. Then when every one thought it was over they were wrong because then the dragon was breathing water out of nowhere. On the second blast of the dragon's wrath my mom somehow got a video and it looked like a funny movie scene makes sense why we needed ponchos it really did rain up there! We quickly left in fear of another blast from the waterfall dragon. Then we got to the car and took off our soaked ponchos as we headed home about fifteen minutes away.

When we got to the hotel we immediately took off our soaked shoes and took showers. Keep in mind that was only day one the rest of the days we just chilled at the beaches of Danang. Another option was finding some more events to explore. As well as just chill in our hotel and watch TV and nap. This about wraps it up for our experience in Danang thank you for reading this and I hope you enjoy my post. Please check out Vietnam part-2, have a very good day.

Henan River "Ta-taki" Waterfall Hike

The Ta-taki falls hike was really fun because of the waterfall at the end. When we got there we saw a map then we went through the trail on land we saw a lot of plants and bugs such as caterpillars, butterflies and spiders. About half way through the trail we went into water we stepped on a lot of rocks and saw some more spiders. 3 quarters of the way there was a deep spot in the water since we had life jackets as shown in the picture we swam by with no problem. The final and most fun part was when we got to the waterfall, we took a lot of pictures and we even went and got splashed by the waterfall.      We stopped by the main sign on the way back, my brother was happy to be out of the cold water, we were soaked. We were happy to get changed into dry clothes, next stop was to get lunch before we went home. Tune in to another adventure where I show you the awesome burgers we had for lunch. The freezing but fun waterfall, we went on his adventure on 28 October 2023.
